My Syngonium

Hi there everyone! I’m getting a lot of questions on my Instagram about my Syngonium collection. How many do I have, how do I take care of them etc. So I decided to do a post about it.

It’s a very easy plant to take care of. It comes in so many forms and colors it’s mind-blowing! I think I hear about a new one every few weeks. It’s crazy! Let me start with some care tips for you guys and then I’ll share photos of each and every one of my collection. Enjoy and feel free to ask any questions!

CARE TIPS

LOCATION: Syngonium does well in low-to-medium light settings and thrive in bright, indirect light. It does not like exposure to direct sunlight. I’m not gettting a lot of sunlight in my house, actually, close to nothing, so it’s perfect for them. Wherever I put them they seem to be ok.

WATERING: The soil should be kept lightly moist during spring and summer and slightly drier during the fall and winter months. Don’t let it become completely dry. I mist them everyday during summer.

SOIL: I use mix of 50% regular soil + 50% coconut substrate + perlite

TEMPERATURE: Warm, humid conditions. I use humidifier every few days for few hours. It increases moisture.

IMPORTANT: Plants always grow toward light, so you should rotate them every few days. Especially young, small Syngonium.

This is my Syngonium collection. I will update with photos whenever a new one comes along!
